Returned home to work with the Dwight-Pine Bluff-Lakewood Animal Hospitals

Participated in Aquavet, a month long course in aquatic animal medicine
in Wood's
Mole, Massachusetts.
Has done two years of volunteer work at John G. Shedd Aquarium.

Family: husband, Brian; three sons, Justin, Shane, and Nathan.
Pets: "Patton" (dog), 2 waxy monkey tree frogs,1 betta fish, an aquarium, and gecko.
Hobbies: family, reading, and watching kids sporting events.
Nicole Hawkins, CVT/Puppy Training

Education: 1992 graduate of Parkland College in Veterinary Technology.
Work:
Joined the staff in 1992.
Also teaches puppy training and obedience classes, along with one on one
behavioral modification.
Family: Husband, Roger and sons Darren, Ben and twins, Logan and Luke.
Pets: 3 horses, 1 pony, 2 dogs, and too many cats to count! Plus any orphaned critters.
Hobbies: Horseback riding, sewing, collecting bears, and critter care.

Work:
After graduating, I ran my own grooming business for fifteen years in a
Chicago suburb.
In 1994, I joined the Dwight-Pine Bluff-Lakewood Animal Hospital staff.
I have worked at all three clinics and am currently at Lakewood Animal
Hospital.
Family: I'm married to Mark, we have a daughter, Breanna.
Pets: We have two dogs, Emmy and Odie and a cat named Puddin'.

I have been with the Dwight-Pine Bluff-Lakewood Animal Hospitals since
June of 2000
Pets: Canadian goose named "Bart."
Hobbies: Running,
spending time with my family, going out with friends and co-workers,
taking care of any sick or injured animals I may find or get from others
that know that I will try and save them.
Special Interests at my job:
I especially enjoy ultrasound and working with any exotic species we may
see.
Future Plans: Starting in August 2007, I will begin school
to be an ultrasound technician.
